Volunteer with Paris High School Uganda, Volunteers Heart For Africa & OpenGate Church of All Nations

About this opportunity

Join us in Uganda and become part of a meaningful community service and faith-rooted volunteer experience. Paris High School Uganda, in partnership with Volunteers Heart For Africa and OpenGate Church of All Nations, welcomes volunteers who are passionate about education, community development, Christian service, and making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people. Volunteers may support teaching and tutoring, mentoring students, sports, music and arts, agriculture, administration, community outreach, and practical school development activities, depending on their skills and experience. Volunteers may also participate in visiting families and communities to encourage and raise awareness about the importance of education. Those interested in Christian ministry may have opportunities to participate in church activities, prayer, evangelism, and other faith-based community outreach. Our opportunities are flexible and are designed to allow volunteers to share their skills while learning from the local community and experiencing Ugandan culture. We welcome people of different backgrounds who respect our faith-rooted mission and are willing to serve with humility and compassion. What to bring / training: A short orientation will be provided before volunteers begin. Volunteers should be willing to respect the local culture, community, school policies, and safeguarding requirements. Depending on their role, volunteers may be asked to bring appropriate clothing, teaching or activity materials, and any relevant qualifications or documentation
